Austin Restaurant, Homes Raided in Heroin Distribution Case

Federal FBI agents were issued warrants and raided a South Austin restaurant, along with several homes Thursday morning.

Amado “Mayo” Pardo, 64, was arrested and accused of leading a heroine distribution operation, according to US Attorney’s Office.

According to Austin police, 15 others were also arrested and charged with intent to distribute heroine. Four others were also charged for various drug charges bringing the total number of arrests to 19.

The arrests were a part of a year long investigation known as Operation Muerta Negra.
