El Paso Man Allegedly Threatened to Shoot Obama

A federal grand jury has indicted an El Paso man who supposedly made threats to assassinate President Barack Obama during his inauguration ceremony.

William Mose Tucker, 20, is being held without bail. He will appear in court on March 28.

Tucker’s legal counsel says his client should be offered bail because he does not own any weapons, and there is no proof that he had planned to act on his threat.

According to court papers, the defendant allegedly said in September that he had intentions to shoot the president.
