Former Marine Sentenced in Identity Theft Case

A former U.S. Marine from southern Florida was sentenced to almost five years in prison for stealing the identities of more than 100 fellow servicemen in a major tax fraud conspiracy.

Jobsen Cenor pleaded guilty on Oct. 3 to accusations of wire fraud and aggravated identity theft. In addition to spending 57 months behind bars, he must also endure three years of supervised release.

In 2011 Cenor and a co-conspirator used stolen identities to file fraudulent tax returns.
